Dr Siobhan Osgood
I am an architectural historian specialising in nineteenth-century architecture and engineering infrastructure.


I completed my PhD at Trinity College Dublin in 2023. My thesis ‘Building the Great Northern Railway: Design, Communication, Construction’ is an exploration of the processes involved in creating railway architecture.
I have been published in academic, specialist and public journals, magazines, newspapers and blog posts.

2021
Funded research trip to Spain including archive at Museo del Ferrocarril, Madrid.
2019
Funded trip to conference in Chicago to give guest presentation and receive award.
2016
Dissertation prize for M. Phil thesis. Presented paper at annual conference and publication in their peer-reviewed journal.
